Danville’s Coots has dished out more than 3,000 career assists

Danville volleyball’s Trinity Coots recently passed 3,000 assists for her career. She moved into the top 25 in AHSSA history.

“It is such an amazing feeling to reach a goal that I set for myself at the beginning of my varsity career,” Coots said. “I feel very blessed to have reached such a milestone. I hope to get a few more before my senior season ends.”

Coots has been playing varsity volleyball since her sophomore year. She has yet to decide what she will do following graduation. She has an offer from Gadsden State and has received interest from several other schools.

“I couldn’t be more thankful that I reached this goal. All the years of hard work have paid off,” Coots said. “However, I couldn’t have done this without all the amazing coaches who poured into me, my awesome teammates I’ve had through the years, my wonderful family, and most of all, the main person who gets all the glory for this is my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Without Him, none of this would have even been possible.”
