Coffey, Hyde exchange vows
Jodi Gail Coffey of Hartselle and Christopher Cody Hyde of Florence were wed July 7 at 2 p.m. at East Highland Baptist Church in Hartselle. Bro. Walter Blackmon officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Rickey and Robbie Coffey of Hartselle. The groom is the son of Bill and Jackie Hyde of Florence.
The altar was decorated with an architectural column arbor which was covered with blue delphinium, orange lilies, white and yellow spider mums, white larkspur, snapdragons, confetti roses and assorted greenery.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents. She wore a white wedding gown made of jasmine satin and organza. The strapless a-line gown was adorned with lace with beaded and hand embroidered trim on the bodice and hemline. Shirred organza criss-crossed at the front waist and tied as a sash in the back. The train was chapel-length.
Ashton Davis of Hartselle was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Jamie Crow and Jamie Wallace, both of Hartselle and Ashley Worley of Florence.
Attendants wore a-line royal blue dresses with a two-piece look and a strapless bodice with draped detail. They carried a hand-tied bouquet of orange lilies, blue delphinium, confetti and lina roses and green buttons.
Bill Hyde and Jacob Worley of Florence were best men.
Groomsmen were Matt McGee, Evan Wallace and Phillip Looney, all of Florence and Clint Coffey of Hartselle.
Music was provided by Lori Lott and Wesley Stewart.
A reception was held at the church following the ceremony.
The bride's table featured a three-tiered white butter cream cake topped with a bouquet of confetti roses.
It was displayed on top of a lighted fountain, surrounded by a floral bed of roses, orchids and lilies. It was complimented by four additional side cakes winding around the cake.
The groom's cake featured a three-layer light chocolate cake with dark chocolate drizzle and chocolate-covered strawberries.
The table was decorated with a baseball theme.
Joan Grantland served as the wedding director. Assisting with the reception were Kimberly Coffey and Jessica Coffey, who served the bride's cake and Maria and Abbey Dobbs, who served the groom's cake.
Katie James and Leslie Willard were bride's book attendants.
Favor attendants were Mallory Lott, Lydia Coffey, Evan Lott and Will Carter.
After a honeymoon cruise to Alaska, the couple will reside in Florence.

Tyler, Smith exchange vows
Erin Elizabeth Tyler of Falkville and Randall Smith of Florence were wed March 10, 2007, at 4 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Hartselle. Rev. Ron Wilson officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Tony and Vicky Tyler of Falkville. The groom is the son of Ronnie and Pam Smith of Ozark.
The altar was lit by candles of various heights on moss covered pillars draped with cascading jackson vine. Ferns also accented the altar.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a light gold taffeta a-line gown which featured a shirred, strapless bodice embellished with beaded lace and a pick-up skirt.
Her ivory fingertip veil was embroidered with gold edging and flowers accented with swavaroski crystals.
She carried a hand-tied bouquet of pink cabbage and ivory roses.
Lindsey VonLoh of Decatur was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Leslie Morris of Hartselle, Carrie Johnson of Hartselle and Elizabeth Stacks of Kernersville, NC, cousin of the bride.
Attendants wore vintage pearl tea length halter dresses. They carried hand-tied bouquets of graduated shades of pink roses.
Flower girls were Natalie Turner of Florence, cousin of the groom and Shelby Andrews of Florence.
Ring bearer was Mason Turner of Florence, cousin of the groom.
Best man was Jason Smith of Ozark, brother of the groom.
Groomsmen were Justin Smith of Ozark, brother of the groom, Mark Turner of Florence, uncle of the groom and Jordan Tyler of Falkville, brother of the bride.
The usher and candle lighter was Greg Ward of Florence.
Pre-ceremony music was provided by pianist Martha Bowling.
Processional music was provided by violinist Elizabeth Stacks. Vocalists were Tony Tyler, father of the bride, Lori Tyler, cousin of the bride and Harlan Winston.
A reception was held at the church following the ceremony.
The bride's table featured a 3-tiered butter cake with butter cream icing, decorated with pink border. The cake rested on various heights of silver scroll cake stands. The table was accented with pink bows and pink roses.
The groom's table featured a chocolate sheet cake decorated with crimson Alabama "A" mints adorning each slice. The table was covered by khaki and sage cloths and decorated with black iron accents, greenery and a large Alabama tray.
Sharron Steele served as the wedding director.
Assisting with the reception were Dusty Perry, Fay VonLoh, Jackie Bowman, Katie Bowman, Carol Tyler, Verna Stacks, Tanya Turner, Carrie Tyler, Lela Tyler, Cissy Pearson and Debbie Queen.
Kristin Pierce of Madison attended the bride's book.
After taking a honeymoon trip to Beaufort and Charleston, SC, the couple now resides in Florence.

Don and Drenda Warren of Danville announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Hope Warren of Danville to Tony Coulson of Huntsville, the son of Gay Campbell of Huntsville.
The future bride is the granddaughter of Howell and Billie Way of Danville and Sarah Reeder of Hartselle. She is a 2001 graduate of Danville High School and she attended Auburn University, where she received a bachelor of science degree in 2006, majoring in apparel design with a minor in business administration.
She is employed as a designer at the Martha Pullen Company.
The future groom is a graduate of DAR High School in Grant.
He is the owner of S&R Sewing &Vacuum Center.
The wedding is planned for Sept. 29, 2007, at 5:30 p.m. in Fort Morgan.
