Funeral for Roy Glenn Richards, 59, of Decatur was Tuesday, Mar. 8, at 1:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Shawn Kennedy officiating.
Burial was in Hartselle Memory Gardens.
Mr. Richards died Sunday, Mar. 4, 2007, at his residence. He was born August 6, 1947, in Tennessee to Paul Nettleton Richards and Mildred Eloise Knight Richards. He was a veteran and was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Richards of Decatur; a son, Jon Brett Holladay of Hartselle; two brothers, Kenneth Richards and wife Brenda of Decatur and Ray Paul Richards and wife Bonnie of Birmingham; two sisters, Fran Edmondson and husband Joe of Falkville and Ruby Walker and husband James of Centre; and a granddaughter, Julia “J.B.” Holladay.
Pallbearers were Dillard McElroy, Dwight Aldridge, Jim Walker, Michael Edmondson, Bob Ramey and Josh Berryman.
Honorary pallbearers were members of the Joy Sunday School Class at First Baptist Church of Falkville.
