Funeral for John Darryl Adkins, 23, of Huntsville will be on Thursday, Dec. 28, at 3 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church, south of Danville, with Bishop Robinson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.
Mr. Adkins died Monday, Dec. 25, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born August 2, 1983, in Ohio to Jerry Adkins and Debra Kincaid Adkins. He was a talented and accomplished musician.
He is survived by his wife, Jamie Adkins of Huntsville; his father, Jerry Adkins of Missouri; his mother, Debra Kincaid of Missouri; his stepfather, Lewis Kincaid of Missouri; a sister, Jennifer Stricklin and husband Keith of Snead; grandmother of Jamie Adkins, Estelle Smith of Hartselle; and two nephews, Jared and Jacob Stricklin.
Friends will be pallbearers.
