Funeral for Clara V. Oden, 90, of Oden Ridge was Saturday, Nov. 11, at 11 a.m. at Oden Ridge Baptist Church with the Rev. Raymond Stinson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Oden Ridge Cemetery.
Mrs. Oden died Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2006, at Birmingham Nursing Home &Rehab Center East. She was born Feb. 25, 1916, in Morgan County to Andy Stinson and Annie Lindsey Stinson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira N. Oden and two sons, Charles Oden and James Armstrong.
She is survived by two daughters, Bonnie S. Kent of Mary Esther, Fla. and Connie Emma Oden of Trussville; two sisters, Lola Bogle of Falkville and Marie Holmes of Cotaco; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
