Funeral for Gene Anderson, 71, of Somerville was Monday, Oct. 30, at 2 p.m. at The Pentecostal of Hartselle with Bro. Danny Pitts officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Center Springs Cemetery.
Mr. Anderson died Friday, Oct. 27, 2006, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born April 15, 1935, in Lawrence County to Willie Anderson and Ina Mae Moore Anderson. He was a veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Vivian S. Anderson of Somerville; four sons, Sidney Anderson, Tim Anderson and Jimmy Anderson, all of Somerville and Steve Anderson of Decatur; three daughters, Donna Mott of Somerville and Debra Brock and Teresa Darnell, both of Trinity; 23 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were grandsons.
