A celebration of life memorial service for Scott Lee Huskey, 60, will be Sat., Feb. 18, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation will be Sat., Feb. 18, after the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Huskey died Thur., Feb. 16, 2012, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born Aug. 1, 1951, in Morgan County to Cecil Leon Huskey and Ruby Rodgers Huskey. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Hartselle and was retired from Hartselle Utilities where he was a sewer line superintendent. He graduated from the former Morgan County High School where he enjoyed playing baseball. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, Alabama football, Chevrolet racing, working in his yard and spending time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Huskey of Hartselle; two stepdaughters, Mandy Johnson and husband Jerry of Hartselle and Jenni Cole and husband Mark of Crestview, Fla.; his mother, Ruby Rodgers Huskey of Hartselle; a brother, Jerry Huskey of Trinity; and four surviving grandchildren, Tyler Cronin, Trent Cronin, Jayce Johnson and Molly Claire Johnson.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association.
