Funeral for Vera Johnson Drake, 90, of Hartselle was Saturday, Nov. 19, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Harold Thompson officiating.
Burial was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Drake died Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2005, at Falkville Health Care Center. She was born Nov. 20, 1914, in Morgan County to Pearlie Johnson and Mable Holt Johnson. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Hartselle. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. B. Drake.
She is survived by two sons, Mike Drake and Bill Drake, both of Hartselle; two daughters, Marie Lemay of Hartselle and Pat Hutchinson of Georgia; two brothers, Ervin Johnson and Charlie Johnson, both of Hartselle; three sisters, Vina Wallace, Grace Griffith and Ottie Self, all of Hartselle; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were her grandchildren.
