Funeral for Madge Grace Laningham, 78, of Moulton was Sun., Oct. 9, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Hubert Smith and Anthony “Pinky” Tyler officiating.

Burial was in Moss Chapel Cemetery.

Mrs. Laningham died Fri., Oct. 7, 2011, at Lawrence County Medical Center. She was born April 11, 1933, in Morgan County to Naaman Johnson and Opal Haynes Stubbs, both of whom preceded her in death.

She is survived by a daughter, Deborah Horton and husband Jackie of Moulton; a brother, Buddy Johnson and wife Ruby of Hartselle; two sisters, Louise Murphy and husband Ray of Hartselle and Susan Shandor and husband Ronnie of Maryland; four grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Nicky Simmons, Kaleb Bradford, Cleveland Cryer, Travis Cryer, Jeremy Murphy, Tyler Borden, Mike Murphy and Josh Boris.
