Funeral for Ruby Lott Boyer, 83, of Hartselle will be Sat., Oct. 8, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Rachel Westmoreland and the Rev. Walter Blackmon officiating.

Visitation will be Sat., Oct. 8, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Mt. Tabor Cemetery.

Ms. Boyer died Thur., Oct. 6, 2011, at Summerford Nursing Home. She was born April 3, 1928, in Morgan County to Luther Ernest Lott and Emma Smith Lott. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Robert Lee “Buck” Boyer; a son, Bill Boyer; and a granddaughter, Kendra Boyer.

She is survived by three sons, Jimmy Boyer and wife Shirley and Wayne Boyer and wife Kattie, all of Hartselle, and Ronnie Boyer of Cullman; two daughters, Mary Ann Slaten and husband Edgar and Rene Watson and husband Marc, all of Hartselle; two sisters, Jean Blackston of Decatur and Illinois Andrews and husband Tiny of Hartselle; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Matt Watson, Jacob Watson, Scott Boyer, Patrick Boyer, Shannon Boyer, Ken Boyer and Dusty Slaten.
