Funeral for Ermord Lindsey, 75, of Eva will be Fri., Oct. 7, at 2 p.m. at Rock Creek Baptist Church with the Revs. Jeff Allred and Robert Morgan officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Visitation will be Thur., Oct. 1, from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Oden Ridge Cemetery.

Mr. Lindsey died Wed., Oct. 5, 2011, at his residence. He was born April 12, 1936, in Morgan County to Judson Lindsey and Emma Baker Lindsey. He was a member of Rock Creek Baptist Church and a member of Florette Lions Club. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and a sister.

He is survived by his wife, Alice Jennings Lindsey of Eva; two daughters, Cathy Lindsey Thompson and Carin Lindsey Austin, both of Decatur; a sister, Ella Dean Bousquet and husband Roberts of Danielson, Conn.; three surviving grandchildren, Molly Thompson, McClain Thompson and Rebecca Byrd; and two adopted grandchildren, Rylee Burt Thomas and Jordan Burt.

Pallbearers were Dexter Lindsey, Clint Walling, Scott Walling, John Wade Tomlinson, Zack Holmes and Alton Hill.
