Funeral for Mary Ernestine Brewer, 58, of Hartselle was Friday, March 11, at 2 p.m. at Cedar Creek FreeWill Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry McElroy officiating.
Burial was in the adjoining cemetery. Mrs. Brewer died Wednesday, March 9, 2005, at Decatur General Hospital. She was a member of Cedar Creek Free Will Baptist Church for 29 years. She was employed by the State of Alabama at the Morgan County Courthouse as a Circuit Court Clerk for 18 years.
She is survived by her husband, Alton "Bunky" Brewer of Hartselle; one son, Edward Alton Brewer of Hartselle; two daughters, Angela Renee Lovett and husband Adam of Hartselle and Jennifer Jaclyn Rhyne and husband Michael of Grant; one brother, Bill Morrison of Birmingham; one sister, Diane Penley and husband Don of Athens; and three grandchildren, Alec Lovett, Abby Lovett and Allson Brewer. Pallbearers were Adam Lovett, Mike Rhyne, Eddie Brewer, Herman Brewer, David Davis and Burt Brewer.
