Funeral for Opal Plemons Howard, 90, of Hartselle will be Thursday (today), Sept. 9, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Charles Goodall officiating.
Burial will be in Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
Mrs. Howard died Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2004, at Hartselle Medical Center. She was born July 3, 1914, in Morgan County to Walter Plemons and Ollie Eugene Yeager Plemons. She was a member of Westview Church of Christ in Hartselle She was preceded in death by her husband, Olis D. Howard; one daughter, Lurliene Howard Dobbs; five brothers; and one sister.
She is survived by one son, Loyd T. Howard of Hartselle; three daughters, Margean H. Puckett, Linda H. Thrasher and Martha H. Stephenson, all of Hartselle; 14 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
