Funeral for Sandra Steele Newsom, 46, of Decatur was Monday, March 8, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Carol Hall officiating.
Burial was in Center Cemetery in Lawrence County.
Mrs. Newsom died Sunday, March 7, 2004, at her residence. She was born December 20, 1957, in Lawrence County to Travis O. Steele and Audrey May Summerford Steele.
She is survived by her husband, Ralph E. Newsom of Decatur; two sons, Randy Steele of Hartselle and Heath Childers of Town Creek; one daughter, Sherri Hill of Moulton; one brother, Danny Steele; three sisters, Glenda Cook and Julie Quick, both of Hanceville and Brenda Garrison of Hartselle; and eight grandchildren.
