Soccer Recap: Danville and Priceville pick up area wins

The Danville Hawks boys and girls soccer teams picked up three wins last week to finish the week undefeated.

Danville boys 6, East Lawrence 0
Justin Hanline had a hat trick, finishing with three goals in the Hawks 6-0 area win over East Lawrence. Bo Huff, Ever Lopez, and Moises Parra each finished with a goal.

Danville boys 3, St. Bernard 0
Hanline had a goal and two assists in the Hawks 3-0 win over St. Bernard. Para and Huff each added a goal, while Kevin Castillo had an assist. JoJo Whisenant had 12 saves to secure the shutout. Danville improves to 4-1.

Danville girls 10, St. Bernard 0
Angel Boston led the Lady Hawks with five goals in their 10-0 win over St. Bernard. Seventh-grader Layla Sherrill had two goals and two assists, while Maddie Sherrill added two goals. Elisabeth Hand had three saves in goal. The Lady Hawks improve to 5-0.

Priceville girls 3, Brewer 0
Anna Katherine Hopkins netted two goals in leading the Lady Bulldogs to a 3-0 area win over rival Brewer. She also had six steals and an assist in the win. Maddie Kennedy added a goal and an assist. Priceville improves to 3-1 and 3-0 in area play.
