Romager & Murphy

Lindsey Romager + Ty Murphy

October 10, 2021

How we met:

Ty and I met in high school. We had a music appreciation class together. All we did was laugh and cut up in class, secretly crushing on each other. After that class, we didn’t speak for many years. Later we reconnected through Facebook. I messaged him first, wishing him a happy birthday, and the rest is history.

The proposal:

Ty took me on a trip to Gatlinburg, Tenn., as a Christmas gift in 2020 and proposed there.

The wedding dress:

I found my wedding dress while shopping by myself one day at David’s Bridal. I fell in love with it instantly.

Favorite moment from the big day:

My favorite part of our wedding day was the ceremony. I loved every minute of it, from walking down the aisle with my dad to saying my vows to my best friend.

What we are doing now:

Ty and I live in Hartselle now and hope to grow our family here. I have no idea what I would do without him.
