The members of Shady Grove Baptist Church will host a blood drive on Feb. 14 from 12:30–5 p.m. Please come out and support the blood drive and remember the life that you save could be your own or that of a family member or a friend. All help will be greatly appreciated!

Danville High School’s Alumni Career Spotlight for January was Melissa Parker, Class of 1979. She is a gifted specialist and educator, for Morgan County Schools, Danville-Neel Elementary and Danville Middle School, and she has a master’s degree. Melissa says her favorite things about Danville High School include the small size  

Falkville High School’s Alumni Career Spotlights for January were Nikki Miller, Class of 1992, who has had career success at Falkville High School, and William Wolf at Falkville High School

The Jesse Owens Museum reopened Feb. 1. Hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 1–4 p.m
