Hartselle man faces felony charges

The Morgan County Sheriff Office executed four felony warrants at a residence on Beverly Street in Hartselle Jan. 27.  

Deputies arrested Jordan David Raper19of Hartselle on two warrants for bond revocation and transmitting obscene material to a child by computerone warrant for bond revocation and traveling to meet a child for unlawful sexone warrant for failure to appear and electronic solicitation of a child. 

According to the MCSO, Raper was arrested without incident, transported to the Morgan County Jail and booked with no bond.  

Raper was previously arrested Jan. 21, 2020, for transmitting obscene material to a child and traveling to meet a child for unlawful sex, and he bonded out the following day, according to Mike Swafford with the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office.  

Raper was arrested again Feb. 252020, for electronic solicitation of a child and released on bond the same day.  

May 1, 2020, Raper was arrested a third time for failing to appear in court and on a charge of harassing communication. He was released on bond June 8.
