Two area players chosen for AHSAA North-South All-Star basketball games

Hartselle’s Brody Peebles and Priceville’s Jenna Walker have been chosen to participate in the AHSAA North-Star All-Star basketball games this summer.

Peebles will represent the North team in the boy’s game while Walker will represent the North team in the girl’s game.

“It’s a blessing for sure,” said Peebles. “Just to be able to represent my school and community is something I’m incredibly grateful for!”

“I’m really excited about this new experience and to have been named one of the top players in the state by the AHSAA,” Walker said.  “All the girls on both the North and South rosters are phenomenal players. I can’t wait to experience this with these girls as we represent our high schools and our state.”

The games will be played Tuesday, July 14 in Montgomery.

Previously, the North-South volleyball rosters were announced. Hartselle’s Hailey Holshouser will represent the North in the North-South volleyball match.
