Hartselle AYSO to honor memory of Crystal Dixon Saturday

The Hartselle American Youth Soccer Organization will have a special day of recognition this Saturday as its season comes to a close.

They will be dedicating the day to honor the memory of Crystal Dixon who passed away recently.

Dixon was a well-known member of the Hartselle community who influenced children through her years of volunteering with the AYSO and assisting with the junior varsity teams at Hartselle High School. She coached the U-14 team this season.

Hartselle AYSO will begin the day with a moment of silent reflection and prayer at 9:30 am at the Hartselle Soccer Complex.

AYSO will be accepting donations as well as donating all proceeds from the concession stand to give to her family.

There will be a special presentation Nov. 2 for all U-14 team following their final match of the season. The game start time will be 10:30 am at the Hartselle Soccer Complex.

Hartselle AYSO asks that the soccer community, as well as the Hartselle community, come out to support the Dixon family and the young men and women competing in their final game for the regular season.
