Brewer Moves Up to 7th in Class 5A Poll Following Morgan County Tournament Championship

Brewer’s Lady Patriots jumped up three spots to seventh in Class 5A in the Alabama Sports Writers Association high school basketball poll that was released Wednesday night.

The Lady Patriots (20-7) are peaking at the right time following their second consecutive Morgan County Tournament title last week. They have been ranked every week that the poll has been released. This is their highest ranking this season.

Priceville (20-5), who lost to Brewer in the championship game, maintained their number one ranking for the eighth straight week in Class 4A.

Hartselle (22-4), fell one spot to fourth in the Class 6A rankings.

In the boy’s poll, Hartselle (20-6) moved up one spot in Class 6A following their County Championship.
