Historical society seeks church information

Dear Editor,

The Hartselle Historical Society, for its Jan. 7, 2019, Lunch and Learn session from noon to 1:30 p.m., is planning to present the history of the churches in our city limits. We are unable to find a contact person for some of the churches. In this letter, we would like to invite the churches that have not been contacted to submit a one-page history about the establishing of their church in Hartselle. We would like to know how their church came into being, the date, who was involved in its beginning and a few statements about its vision. If you would like to setup a display for Jan. 7, 2019, at The Burleson Center, 307 College St., NE, we would welcome a display.

This information may be sent to the Hartselle Historical Society, PO Box 1076 or by email, tomyarbie@charter.net. This information is needed by Dec. 7. Should you have questions, please call 773-9390 or 227-6519.

Bettye English
Hartselle Historical Society President
