Baseball camp set for June
Hartselle High School's Summer Baseball Camp will be held in June.
The first session is for ages 10 and under and will be held June 2, 3 and 4 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
The second session is for ages 11 and older and will be held June 5, 6 and 7 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
Applications are available on Page C-5 of today's Enquirer.
Cost is $60. For more information, call Coach William Booth at 773-5123.
Hartselle Softball Clinic planned
The Hartselle Softball Clinic is scheduled for Monday through Wednesday at Grady and Margie Long Park.
Hartselle head coach Shane Alexander, along with current and former players, will teach defensive techniques by position, offensive strategy, hitting and pitching, as well as base running techniques.
The camp is for ages five and up and will cost $60. You can also register the first day of the camp at 8:30 a.m.
T-shirts also will be provided with the registration fee.

Basketball camp scheduled
The Robert Pope Danville Basketball Camp will be held Monday through Friday at Danville High School.
The camp is for boys and girls who are entering second grade through ninth.
The five-day camp will be $45, which includes a T-shirt and free drinks, and lasts from 8:30 a.m. until 12 p.m. each day.
Pope, Bruce Fitzgerald, Greg Keenum and Sam Brown all will be present to instruct.

Golf Tourney set
for June 9
The Optimist Club of Decatur will host a junior golf tournament June 9 at Burningtree Country Club.
Boys and girls ages 10-18 will play nine or 18 holes for a chance to go to the district tournament at Valley Landing Golf Course in Courtland.
There, golfers will attempt to qualify for the Optimists Junior Golf Championships in Florida.

Sam Brown cager camp to be held at Brewer
The Sam Brown Basketball Camp at Brewer High School is set for June 9-13.
The camp is for boys and girls entering second through ninth grade, and will cost $65.
