Gaines joins Enquirer staff

Hartselle Enquirer

The staff of the Hartselle Enquirer would like to welcome Charley Gaines to the position of staff writer at the operation. Gaines began work with the Enquirer last Monday and has quickly jumped into the day-to-day tasks of the newspaper office.

Gaines is an Auburn graduate and has worked in TV news in the recent past.

She is a native of Huntsville and plans to move to Hartselle when her current lease is completed.

She has free-lanced sports stories for a sister paper of the Hartselle Enquirer for a number of years also.

Publisher, Randy Garrison says, “Gaines already fits in very well with the staff in our office and has also made contacts with several people in town and in the county. We are lucky to have her join our operation at the newspaper.”

In fact, she has several stories in this week’s edition.

Gaines will also be contributing to editorial content in Hartselle Living, The Morgan Countian as well as the websites and social media sites of the publications.

Gaines commented, “ I am excited to be in Hartselle and look forward to meeting the folks in Hartselle and sharing their stories.”
