James Leonard Bishop

A graveside service and memorial for James “Jim” Leonard Bishop, 55, of Glen Burnie, Md., will be Fri., Sept. 18, at 2 p.m. at Hartselle City Cemetery with Bro. Junior Hill officiating and Peck Funeral Home assisting.

Mr. Bishop died Sept. 14, 2014, in Baltimore, Md., after a lengthy illness. He was born April 18, 1959, in Hartselle to James E. and Ila Jo Bishop. He was married for 23 years to Debra Ann Bishop (nee Reynolds). He was an avid football fan and loved the Dallas Cowboys.

He is survived by his wife, Debra Ann Bishop; his parents, James E. and Ila Jo Bishop; a sister, Reita Jane Bishop; a brother, John Bishop (Pat); his children, James Bishop II and Jennifer Johnson, a stepdaughter Leah Winebrenner; grandchildren, Justice, Michael and Alliyah Bishop, stepgrandsons, Clayton and Dalton Winebrenner; and four-legged kids Jake and Smokey.
