Student injured in traffic mishap

A 14-year-old Hartselle girl was hospitalized Wednesday after being injured in a traffic accident at the intersection of Frost and Nelson Streets.
Madison Hargett, a passenger in a Jeep Cherokee driven by her mother, Christian Hargett, of Hartselle was flown to Huntsville Hospital by Air Evac following the 7:26 a.m. mishap.
The driver of the other vehicle involved, was Jason Freeman, 42, of Moulton. He was not injured.
Hartselle police investigated the accident.
