Roy Landers

A memorial service for Roy Landers, 71, of Decatur was Tues., Aug. 18, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Crosswhite.

Mr. Landers died Sat., Aug. 15, 2015, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born Nov. 4, 1943, in Colbert County to Mark Landers and Minnie Carpenter Haddock. He worked in the mobile home industry for more than 40 years and retired from River Burch Mobile Homes. He loved golfing and Alabama football. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Pat Landers of Decatur; a daughter, Teresa Fulda of Tampa, Fla.; a brother, Willard Landers of Madison; a sister, Willodean Crosswhite of Savannah, Tenn.; two grandchildren, Tori Ware and David Fulda; a great–grandchild, Jackson Sierra; two nephews, Jeff Crosswhite (Cindy) of Savannah, Tenn., and Stephen Landers of Madison; and a great-nephew, Owen Crosswhite.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Decatur First United Methodist Church or a charity of your choice.
