Library announces reading program

Belated birthday wishes are extended to Joseph E. Lee from his family. His special day was June 10.

First Baptist Church Falkville members extend birthday wishes to Jade Chowning, on June 13, Alan Thompson on June 16, Ann Jane Lee on June 17, Don Morris on June 19, Bonnie Thompson on June 23, Judy Gover on June 25, Phyliss Teague and Linda Bryan, both on June 26, Jennie Foote on June 28 and Linda Allredge on June 30.

Falkville Public Library will conduct their annual summer program July 2 through the end of the month each Thursday at 2 p.m. The title of the program will be “Every Hero Has  A Story.”

Celebrating birthdays at Falkville Senior Citizen Center are Charles Williams on June 9, Fay Anders on June 10, Barbara Asherbranner on June 13 and David Scott on June 24.
