A graveside funeral for Alvin Steele, 62, of Danville will be Sun., June 7, at 3 p.m. at Friendship South of Danville with Bro. Dan Compton officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Mr.Steele died Thur., June 4, 2015 at Lawrence Baptist Medical Center. He was born Sept. 25,1952, in Morgan County to Charlie Joseph Steele and Grace Mae Collins Steele. He was the owner/operator of Steele Backhoe Service. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Lori Steele of Danville; two daughters, Dana Hill and Maria Steele, both of Danville, a step-son, Blake Hall of Florence; two step-daughters, Amber Renee Keepers of Arizona and Ashley Keepers of Wisconsin; a brother, Marvin Steele of Danville; two grandchildren, MaRay Blaxton and Caleb Hill; eight grandchildren; and six step-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Caleb Hill, Eddie Crowe, Paul Crowe, Tony Jackson, John Hill, James Turrentine, Ben Lawrence and Brandon Turrentine.
