Praying for Colt’s healing
On Feb. 14, we observed a day set aside where we exchanged Valentines and other tokens of affection.
Many expressed their love for that special someone with cards, candy, flowers or maybe a special dinner.
In John 3:16 we find: “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
He loves us so much that He was willing to give His life for us. Had he not done that we could not have eternal life.
Next, we must decide whether we want to accept or reject His love for us.

Many of you know that I am a firm believer in prayer. I received a phone call recently requesting all to place 12-year-old Colt Beavers on your prayer list. He is at the Children’s Hospital in Birmingham after he was involved in an automobile accident Sat., Feb. 14.
Also involved was Colt’s dad, James Daniel Beavers, his sister, Marlee Beavers and Kyle Pontolillo and Dakota Dinges, both of Waynesboro, Tenn. For condition, updates and information on fundraising efforts go to “Prayer for Colt” Facebook community page.
