Local choirs pay tribute to Elvis

The Decatur Civic Chorus and the Athens Community Chorus are joining together for a special concert with showings Thursday and Sunday celebrating the 60th anniversary of Rock and Roll with songs Elvis recorded such as “How Great Thou Art,” “Can’t Help Falling in Love with You,” “Blue Suede Shoes” and many others. The Nov. 16 concert will be at Athens State University Ballroom at 2:30 p.m. Tickets will be available at the door.
