Morgan County Sports HOF Banquet tickets now on sale

Morgan County Sports Hall of Fame banquet tickets are now on sale.
The banquet, held June 14 at the Holiday Inn in Decatur, will cost $30. The reception begins at 6 p.m., while the banquet begins at 7 p.m.
The featured speaker will be University of Alabama-Birmingham coach and Athletic Director Watson Brown.
This year's inductees will be James H. Stephenson, George Stephenson, Bucky Pitts, Gary Redus, Marshall Hames, Cliff Holliday and Paul Ransom.

Morgan Co. HOF Golf Tourney slated
The Morgan County Hall of Fame "Red" Sanders Memorial Golf Tournament will be held at Cedar Ridge Golf Course Friday, June 13.
The four-man scramble format tournament will cost $200 per team, which includes green fees, golf cart, grilled hamburgers and hot dogs plus door prizes.
The sole purpose of this event, according to J.P. Cain, is "to have fun and help support the programs of the Morgan County Boy's and Girl's Club."
