Sloan, Hyatt to wed Feb. 22
Guy and Phyllis Sloan of Hartselle and David and Cheryl Lamson of Flint, Mich., announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Sloan, to Bradley Hoyt Hyatt, son of Alvin H. Hyatt Jr. and Jerri Hyatt of Hartselle.
The bride-elect is a 1999 Hartselle High School graduate and is attending Calhoun Community College in Decatur.
She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Robershaw of Priceville, Mr. and Mrs. Frances Diener of Zypherhills, Fla., and Mr. and Mrs. Bud Sloan of Chattanooga.
The groom-elect is a 2001 Hartselle High School graduate and is attending Calhoun Community College in Decatur.
He is the grandson of Mrs. Max D. Blevins of Hartselle and Mr. and Mrs. Alvin H. Hyatt Sr. of Hartselle.
The wedding will be held Feb. 22 at 2 p.m. at First Christian Church of Hartselle.
Sullivan, Hayes to wed March 7
Jamie and Fran Sullivan of Somerville announce the engagement of their daughter, Angela Frances Sullivan, to Eric Matthew Hayes, son of Carol Hayes of Decatur and Mr. and Mrs. Arel Hayes of Nashville.
The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of Tennessee Valley Christian School and is employed by Martin's Family Clothing in Decatur. She is a member of Hartselle Church of Christ. She is the granddaughter of Frances S. Bishop of Somerville, Carole Hedges of Madison, the late James R. Sullivan Sr. of Rogersville, the late Joan S. Sullivan of Hartselle, and the late Jesse Bishop of Gadsden.
The groom-elect is a 1999 graduate of Tennessee Valley Christian School and is employed by Teledyne Wah Chang in Madison. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Roman of Mt. Morris, Mich., Mr. and Mrs. Gene Hayes of Hartselle, and the late Shirley Maylum of Rogersville.
The wedding will be held March 7, 2003 at Hartselle Church of Christ.
Vella, Haney to wed March 8
Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Joseph Vella Sr. of Birmingham announce the engagement of their daughter, Christina Daniella Vella, to Ryan Wesley Haney, son of Mr. and Mrs. Julius Craig Haney Jr. of Birmingham.
The couple will wed March 8, 2003 at 4 p.m. at Raleigh Avenue Baptist Church.
The future bride is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs Al Brasher and the late Virgil Isbell and the late Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Vella. She is a graduate of Auburn University, where she was a member of Delta Delta sorority. She is employed in Birmingham.
The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Julius Craig Haney Sr., Louise S. Plemmons and the late Austin D. Plemmons of Hartselle.
He is completing his degree in communication studies and is employed with WJOX radio in Birmingham.
Bailey, Reeves to wed March 8
Jack and June Bailey of Hartselle announce the engagement of their daughter, Holly Elizabeth Bailey, to Jeremy Dewayne Reeves, son of Jerry and Shirley Reeves of Hartselle.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Danville High School and is currently attending John C. Calhoun Community College. She is employed by UPS and Main Street Salon. She is the granddaughter of Naola Bailey of Athens, the late Eugene Bailey, the late Woodrow and Mary Marbut of Athens.
The groom-elect is a graduate of Brewer High School and is employed by Choretime Cage Systems. He is the grandson of Milton Bomar of Hartselle, the late Ruby Bomar, and Roy and Coleen Reeves of Hartselle.
The wedding will be held March 8, 2003 at Danville Baptist Church at 6 p.m.
