Funeral for Willard H. Clemons, 72, of Hartselle was Fri., July 16, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bryan Bridges and Joe Nuss officiating.
Burial was in Cedar Creek Cemetery.
Mr. Clemons died Tue., July 13, 2010, at his residence. He was born June 2, 1938, in Morgan County to Marion Monroe Clemons and Bessie Mae Lott Clemons. He was retired from Prestolite as an engineer after 33 years of service. He was a piano player at Rural Grove Baptist Church and Oak Ridge Baptist Church for many years. He was a deacon at Rural Grove and Oak Ridge Baptist churches. He was a mechanical engineer,  an accomplished craftsman of violins and an avid family man. Since his retirement from Prestolite he was a full-time handyman and a master of all crafts. He loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Betty S. Clemons; two sons, David Brian Clemons and wife Rita and Chris C. Clemons and wife Diane, all of Hartselle; an honorary son, Alan Bolan of Tennessee; six grandchildren, Justin Clemons, Jeremy Clemons, Tamra Taylor, B.J. Lopez and Scott and Kyle Breeding; and three great-grandchildren, Zoe Beth Taylor, Adrian Clemons and Tristan Dewey.
Pallbearers were Noel Foster, Jason Jones, Donnie Gilbert, Kyle Breeding, Randy Putman and Justin Clemons.
Honorary pallbearers were Scott Breeding and Tim Clemons.
