Petty, Heaps to wed Dec. 7
Michele Livingston Petty of Hartselle and Christopher Michael Heaps of Hartselle announce their engagement.
The wedding is planned for Dec. 7, 2002 at First United Methodist Church at 5:30 p.m.
The future bride is the daughter of Wilda Jeffers of Hartselle and Ron and Teresa Livingston and the granddaughter of the late Lovie Roberts of Decatur and the late A.C. and Wanza Livingston of Hartselle.
A graduate of Hartselle High School, she attended Calhoun Community College and is employed with Delphi Automations. She is recording secretary for UAW Local 2195 and a member of the UAW Womens Committee.
The future groom is the son of Willard Heaps of Decatur and the late Kathy Heaps of Hartselle and the grandson of the late Jesse and Maggie Heaps of Hartselle and the late Horton Kelley and Irene Haney of Falkville.
A graduate of Hartselle High School and Gadsden State Junior College, he earned a bachelor of science in education degree from Athens State University. He is a member of First United Methodist Church and an officer with the Alabama Baseball Coaches Association.
