Auburn Ray 'Buddy' Foote

Funeral for Auburn Ray "Buddy" Foote, 65, of Huntsville was Tuesday, Nov. 26, at 2 p.m. at Salem United Methodist Church with the Revs. David Weaver and Marcus Long officiating.
Burial was in the adjoining cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Foote died Saturday, Nov. 23, 2002, at University of Alabama at Birmingham Hospital. A Hartselle native, he was a member of Salem United Methodist Church and a graduate of Morgan County High School and Athens College. He was Alabama's Vocational Teacher of the Year in 1986. He worked for the Madison County School system and retired from Huntsville City Schools. He was a former employee of the Chrysler Corp.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Foote of Huntsville; one son, Tim Foote of Huntsville; two daughters, Kim F. Holman and Penny F. White, both of Huntsville; one sister, Edith Stearns of Huntsville; and three grandsons.
Pallbearers were Owen Parker, Allen Stephenson, John Paul Burgess, Geoff Slate, Bobby Foote, Jimmy Hartselle, David Blankenship and Novie Stone.
