How do I submit a letter to the editor?
Submit a letter to the editor by clicking on the About Us button in the main menu bar and selecting the Letters to the Editor option.
How do I submit a news tip?
We welcome news tips and suggestions from our readers. You can submit an idea or story by using our online web from. Click the About Us button in the main menu bar and select the News Tips link.
How can I get a death notice or obituary published in the paper?
Basic death notices run free of charge in the Hartselle Enquirer. Only obituaries submitted by funeral homes will be accepted.
Photos may be included with death notices.
How do I submit an event for a calendar listing?
Church happenings, community events and nonprofit activities may be listed in the newspaper’s calendar free of charge. Calendar submissions can be e-mailed news@hartselleenquirer.com, called in at 256-773-6566 or faxed at 256-773-1953.
How do I submit a social announcement?
Engagements and marriage announcements run free of charge.
Wedding anniversary announcements run free of charge.
Birthday announcements run free of charge for any age as long as the basic birthday form and a current photo are used.
To submit your announcement you can download an online form and fax it or bring it by our office. To download any one of these forms, click on the About Us button in the main menu bar and select Submit Your News link.
