Funeral for Grady McCoy Wray, 63, of Decatur was Thursday, October 3, at 2 p.m. at Shoal Creek Baptist Church with Dr. Harold Fanning officiating.
Burial was in Shoal Creek Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Wray died Monday, Sept. 30, 2002, in Shreveport, La. A native of Morgan County, he was a mechanic at ConAgra and was a member of Shoal Creek Baptist Church. He was the father of the late Shelia Diane Wray.
He is survived by his wife, Janie Mae Henson Wray of Decatur; three sons, Daryl McCoy Wray of Moulton, David Morgan Wray and James Daniel "Danny" Wray, both of Decatur; one daughter, Deborah "Debbie" Jean Wray Jones of Shreveport, La.; his mother, Fannie Gertrude Dunn Wray of Somerville; four brothers, W.D. Wray and James Wray, both of Somerville, Vann Wray of Holly Pond and Whitt Wray of Cullman; three sisters, Martha Wray Gravatt and Judy Wray Atkins, both of Hartselle and Myra Lou Wray Patterson of Owens Cross Roads; and seven grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Kenneth Atkins, Kevin Patterson, Chris Wray, Randall Gravatt, Royce Wray and Cory Henson.
