Funeral for Earl Streling, 87, of Hartselle was Friday, June 26, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Joey Coots officiating.
Burial was in Burningtree Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Streling died Wednesday, June 24, 2009, at Summerford Nursing Home. He was born March 12, 1922, in Michigan to Edmond F. Streling and Ida Hedgestrom Streling. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the V.F.W.
He is survived by his wife, W. Donna Streling of Hartselle; two sons, David Andrew Streling of Hartselle and Edmund Earl Streling of Metamora, Mich.; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Edmund Earl Streling, David Andrew Streling, Brandon Prater, Shawn Streling and Joey Harville.
