Funeral for Betty Cooper, 65, of Hartselle was Friday, Aug. 30, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Royce Teague officiating.
Burial was in Forrest Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Cooper died Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2002, at Decatur General Hospital. She was a native of Morgan County.
She is survived by her husband, James Cooper of Hartselle; five sons, Larry Cooper of Massey, Ricky Cooper and Mark Cooper, both of Hartselle, Kerry Cooper of Decatur and Tommy Cooper of Moulton; three daughters, Judy Lindley of Moulton, Vickie Luke of Hartselle and Marie Cooper of Gulf Shores; three brothers, James McDonald of Decatur, J.D. McDonald of Cullman and Billy McDonald of Addison; three sisters, Linda Cooper of Decatur, Lilly Jones of Sevierville, Tenn. and Arlin Edmondson of Hartselle; 22 grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Joey Cooper, Ricky Cooper, Jason Luke, James Scott, Chris Scott, Shawn Scott and Thomas Cooper.
Honorary pallbearers were Josh Cooper, Cody Cooper, Jamie Cooper, Nicholas Cooper, Chad Cooper, Jordan Cooper, William Jackson and Logan Jackson.
