Funeral for Louise Smith, 80, of Danville was Tuesday, Aug. 27, at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Jamie Suggs and Troy Smith officiating.
Burial was in Friendship Cemetery.
Mrs. Smith died Saturday, Aug. 24, 2002, at Hartselle Medical Center. A native of Lawrence County, she was a homemaker and a member of Andrew Chapel Baptist Church.
She is survived by one son, Buford Smith of Athens; one daughter, Reble Melle of Nokomis, Fla.; three brothers, John Paul Smith of Cullman, Talmadtge Smith of Vermillan, Ohio and Clifford Smith of Danville; one sister, Irene Cutchens of Falkville; seven grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Quinton Smith, Bobby Smith, Steven Smith, Cleveland Smith, Willard Asherbranner and Leon Asherbranner.
