J. Kenneth ‘Kenny’ Young

Funeral for J. Kenneth “Kenny” Young, 53, of Bremen was Saturday, Aug. 9, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Johnny Freeman officiating.
Burial was in New Hope North Cemetery.
Mr. Young died Thursday, Aug. 7, 2008, at his residence. He was born Sept. 18, 1954, in Cullman County to James Dwight Young and Nellie Katherine Holmes Young. He worked for Cerro Wire and Cable for 30 years. He loved to hunt, fish, cook and spend time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Charles D. Young.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Mariene Calvert Young of Bremen; two sons, Kenneth Dwain Young and Stanley James Young, both of Bremen; three brothers, Roger J. Young and wife Donna, Mark A. Young and wife Beth and Michael T. Young and wife Kim, all of Vinemont; best friends, Don Mitchell of Bremen and Beuhl Rusk of Logan; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Joshua Young, Shane Young, Skip Willoughby, Kerry Freeman, Randy Lowery and Shane Weeks.
