Cindy Parrot, a 1975 graduate of Falkville High School, received national recognition recently when she was named among the top 100 health care executives as a patient advocate.

An article based on her career and achievements was published in the July/August issue of Pharma VOICE Magazine.

Parrot is a graduate of the UAB School of Nursing and Samford MBA program. She is employed by Community Health Systems, serving as vice president of nursing at the corporate office.

She and her husband Mike make their home in Vinemont and are the parents of five children, Zachary, Gavin, Juliane, Nicholas and Haley. She is the daughter of Bill and Helen Thomas of Falkville.
