Funeral for Monzell Cowan Robinson, 78, was Sunday, May 18, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary Miller officiating. Music was provided by Shady Creek and Dinky Free.
Burial was in Ebenezer Cemetery.
Mrs. Robinson died Thursday, May 15, 2008, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born Oct. 25, 1929, in Morgan County to Johnie William Cowan and Ollie D. Hammon Cowan. She was preceded in death by a son, Stevie Robinson and a daughter, Sue Johnson.
She is survived by her husband, William F. Robinson of Falkville; two sons, Billy Wayne Robinson and wife Catherine of Decatur and Bobby Robinson and wife Glenda of Falkville; a daughter, Joan Cocke and husband Bobby of Falkville; a sister, Janie Wallace of Hartselle; 15 grandchildren; Kathy Patterson, Kim Johnson, Anita Towe, Denise Barnett, Donna McDonald, Jeff Hemming, Michael Cocke, Robbie Cocke, Bobby Joe Robinson, Johnny Robinson, Melinda Bennett, Rex Allen Robinson, Brian Robinson, Brandy Free and Heather Peebles; and 20 great-grandchildren, Kendall Patterson, Kristal Patterson, Jake Towe, Blake Towe, Valerie Johnson, Dalton Hamm, Austin Hamm, Ashlyn McDonald, Hayley Hemming, Kaden Bennett, Amberly Bennett, Brodie Bennett, Tyler Robinson, Emily Robinson, Keaton Robinson, Brooklyn Robinson, Westyn Robinson, Sierra Free, Chloe Peebles and Rory Peebles.
Pallbearers were Bobby Joe Robinson, Johnny Robinson, Brian Robinson, Michael Cocke, Jeff Hemming and Rex Allen Robinson. Alternate pallbearers were Barry Towe, Raylon Barnett and Chad Bennett.
