Folmar, Sibley to wed
Maria Tamblyn Folmar of Auburn and Henry and Betsy Folmar of Madison, Miss. announce the engagement of their daughter, Katherine Lacy Folmar, to James Thomas Sibley, son of Doug and Pam Sibley of Hartselle.
The future bride is the granddaughter of Dr. and Mrs. J.W. Tamblyn of Auburn, Mrs. Ada Folmar of Auburn and the late Guy Folmar and Pople Fagan of Madison, Miss.
A 2002 graduate of Auburn High School, she will receive a degree in early childhood education from Auburn University this May. She is a member of Friends for Life community program.
The future groom is the grandson of Lucille Hall of Hartselle and the late Millard Hall and Mr. and Mrs. Hal Sibley of Hartselle. He is the great-grandson of Luberta Sibley of Mt. Hope.
A 2001 graduate of Hartselle High School, he received a degree in finance from Auburn University in May 2005 and a master of business administration degree from Auburn University Montgomery in December 2007.
He is a member of Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity and the Financial Management Association. He is employed with FDIC.
The wedding is planned for May 17, 2008 at 10 a.m. at the Grand National Marriott in Auburn.
