Funeral for Glynn Cunningham, 64, of Hartselle was Saturday, Apr. 12, at 3 p. m. at Fairview Church of God with the Rev. Milan Dekich officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Hartselle Memory Gardens.
Mr. Cunningham died Wednesday, Apr. 9, 2008, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born Nov. 25, 1943, in Shelby County to James Kenneth Cunningham Jr. and Nettie Catherine Barnett Cunningham. He was a member of Fairview Church of God and a retired general yardmaster with CSX Transportation after 40 years. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nettie Catherine Cunningham. He is survived by his wife, Lynda Cunningham of Hartselle; two sons, Michael Cunningham and wife Pamela of Falkville and Mitchell Cunningham and wife Pamela of Fultondale; two daughters, Kim Dumas and husband John of Hartselle and Karen Becker and husband Michael of Decatur; his father, James Kenneth Cunningham Jr. of Montevallo; a brother, Marshel Roy Cunningham of Montevallo; a sister, Linda Anne Lakeman of Mobile; seven grandchildren, Tyler Crow, Cameron Cunningham, Lindsey Cunningham, Keri Cunningham, Chase Cunningham, Cooper Cunningham and Alyssa Cunningham.
Pallbearers were Allen Jennings, Charles Gill, Chris Warnick, Paul Thompson, Keith Penn, Rex Buckelew, Roy Dickerson and Ronnie Putman.
Honorary pallbearers were employees of CSX Transportation.
