Funeral for Ernest Bailey, 64, of Hartselle was Friday, Mar. 7, at 2 p.m. at Eva Baptist Church with the Revs. Raymond Stinson, Daniel Tidwell and Phillip Robinson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Oden Ridge Cemetery.
Mr. Bailey died Wednesday, Mar. 5, 2008, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born Oct. 18, 1943 in Cullman County to Harvie Bailey and Ruby Childers Bailey. He was a deacon at Eva Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Bailey.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Bailey of Hartselle; two sons, Kevin Bailey of Eva and Philip Bailey of Hartselle; a daughter, Michelle Bailey Corder and husband J.C. of Hartselle; his father, Harvie Bailey of Cullman; three brothers, Hubert Bailey of Collinsville Nursing Home, Terry Bailey and wife Pat of Eva and Arvil Bailey and wife Selena of Hartselle; two sisters, Linda Cabri and husband Francis of Cullman and Brenda McInnis and husband James of Eva; and one grandchild, Jasper Corder.
Pallbearers were Jay Vest, Stuart Vest, Daniel Cabri, Travis Bailey, Brad Frasier and Luke Mosteller.
