Brewer High School cheerleaders ‘tee off’ for good cause

Brewer High School cheerleaders are getting ready to showcase their team spirit off the field by hosting an exciting golf tournament Aug. 26. The tournament promises to be a day of fun, camaraderie, and friendly competition, all for a worthy cause.

The event will take place at the Chesley Oaks Golf Course with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. Early birds can check in and register from 7 a.m. onwards. Teams of four are invited to participate, with the cost set at $400 per team. For an extra edge in the game, there’s a 4-man scramble mulligan package available, along with the option to purchase two mulligans and one power drive at $20 per person. Please note that payments will be accepted in cash or check only, and all checks should be made payable to Brewer High School.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided to fuel the players throughout the day. As the golfers make their way through the challenging course, they’ll have their eyes on the prize. The top three teams will be awarded cash prizes, adding a competitive edge to the friendly event. Additionally, special gift prizes await those with the longest drive and closest to the pin skills. Participants and spectators alike will have opportunities to win door prizes, and for those feeling a bit lucky, a 50/50 split raffle will be available, with tickets priced at $10 each.

Julie Thomas and Alyson Holmes are the key contacts for anyone seeking more information or wishing to register. They can be reached at 256-566-9179 and 256-612-4785, respectively. So, golf enthusiasts, mark your calendars and rally your teams for a fantastic day out supporting the Brewer High School cheerleaders.
