“The One and Only Sparkella and the Big Lie”

By Channing Tatum

Sparkella has a playdate with Wyatt. He’s the new cool kid from school. Sparkella is really excited about her playdate. However, she starts to think that her toys are too old and not cool enough. So, Sparkella decides to “borrow” a toy from her friend, Tam. Sparkella starts to feel bad about taking Tam’s toy, but not bad enough to say anything. With the help of Sparkella’s dad, she learns the importance of honestly and taking responsibility.

“There’s a Beach in my Bedroom”

By Danielle and Kevin Jonas

Bella can’t wait for her family to go to the beach today. They are going to have the best time. She has already planned their beach snacks with dad, planned how big her sandcastle will be and dreamed of splashing in the waves. However, when she wakes up, it’s raining. They can’t go to the beach when it is raining. Upset, Bella runs to her room and gets back in bed. But Mom, Dad and little sister Emma know just what to do to make Bella feel better. They are going to have a bedroom beach day. They can use pillows as rock to jump on. Mom can play ocean sounds on her phone. Dad can use one of his spotlights for the sun and a fan for an ocean breeze. With all of that and their imaginations, it’s officially bedroom beach day.
