Brooks’ triple-double leads Danville past Brewer

Alyssa Brooks’ triple-double, 15 points, 10 rebounds and 10 steals, led the Danville Lady Hawks to a 60-36 win over Brewer this past Thursday.

Maddie Sherrill finished with 11 points, seven rebounds and five steals in the win. Danville led 34-13 at halftime.

Cierra Marquez finished with 12 points for Brewer (1-3).

Danville 65, Greene Co. 27

The Lady Hawks opened the Hartselle Thanksgiving Tournament with a 65-27 win over Greene. County. Brooks led Danville with 15 points, six steals and five rebounds.

Sherrill added 11 points and eight steals, while Adily Alberti had 10 points.

Hatton 64, Danville 37

Alberti finished with a team-high 10 points for Danville in their 64-37 loss to Hatton.

Olivia Vest added seven points, while Brooks scored six.

Priceville 61, East Limestone 48

Lauren Hames finished with a team-high 20 points in the Lady Bulldogs’ 61-48 win over East Limestone.

Priceville led 24-22 at the half before outscoring East Limestone 21-10 in the third quarter.

Carly Nelson added 11 points, while Leslie Hames had 10 points. Gracin Potter finished with seven points, five rebounds, four assists and three rebounds, and Zoey Benson added seven points, four rebounds and six assists. Freshman Abby Langlois had four points, seven rebounds and five blocks.

Shauna Fletcher scored a game-high 23 points to lead East Limestone, while Taylor Farrar added 15 points.

Falkville 55, Lindsay Lane 19

Ellie Cate Hill finished with a game-high 22 points to lead Falkville (2-1) to a 55-19 win over Lindsay Lane.

Kaitlyn Bullard added 11 points, while Ivy Gilstrap and Kenya Roberson had five points.

Lindsey Murr led Lindsay Lane with 10 points.

Falkville 62, St. Bernard 20

Hill scored a game-high 24 points in the Lady Blue Devils’ 62-20 victory over St. Bernard.

Abbey Grace Tomlin finished with 12 points, while Liza Wallace had 12.

West Morgan 35, Brewer 32

Chloe Romine scored a game-high 16 points in Brewer’s 35-32 loss to West Morgan. She also had six rebounds and five steals. Bailey Hale finished with a game-high 10 rebounds.

Ansley Terry scored a team-high nine points to lead West Morgan, while Brandy Hernandez and Shaylee Terry had eight points each.
